David Fincher adapts ‘The Killer’ graphic novel series for Netflix, with Michael Fassbender in the titular role
The Killer is an action thriller movie on Netflix. The film is directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, who’s earlier films include Se7en, Fight Club, The Social Network and Gone Girl. Fincher’s team includes many of his frequent collaborators. The screenplay for The Killer is written by Andrew Kevin Walker, with cinematography led by Erik Messerschmidt. The film’s score is composed by Academy Award winners and Nine Inch Nail band members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
Michael Fassbender stars as The Killer, an assassin who develops a conscience after a mission goes wrong. He is joined by Charles Parnell as The Killer’s handler, Hodges, and Sophie Charlotte as The Killer’s girlfriend. Kerry O’Malley plays Hodges’s office assistant Dolores. Kiwi actor Sala Baker, who plays Sauron in The Lord of The Rings trilogy is The Brute, and the inimitable Tilda Swinton is The Expert - both are assassins that work with The Killer.
