Adelstein and Katagiri continue to seek justice for the crimes of the Yakuza. Investigating the cruelty of these criminal gangs, the pair must tread carefully for their survival. Tokyo Vice Season 2 is a crime drama television series produced by Endeavor Content for HBO. The series is based on the book Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan written by Jake Adelstein. The show is created by J.T. Rogers who serves as showrunner for the second season.
Tokyo Vice Season 2 features Ansel Elgort and Kevin Watanabe in the lead roles as Jake Adelstein and Hiroto Katagiri. Rachel Keller and Rinko Kikuchi reprise their roles from the first season. New cast members for the second season include Takayuki Suzuki, Miki Maya, Naoki Hayama, Soji Arai, and Aoi Takeya. Tokyo Vice Season 2 was released on Max on February 8, 2024.
