Synopsis

Ripley is a psychological thriller television series based on the book, The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith. Ripley is written and directed by Steven Zaillian, a filmmaker known for the miniseries, The Night Of, as well as movies such as All the King’s Men and Searching for Bobby Fischer. The series features cinematography from Academy Award-winning cinematographer Robert Elswit.
Ripley features an all-star cast led by Irish actor Andrew Scott. He has had starring roles in series such as Sherlock, Fleabag, and Oslo and here takes on the main role of Tom Ripley. Johnny Flynn, star of Lovesick and Stardust, plays Dickie Greenleaf. While award-winning actress Dakota Fanning plays the role of Marge Sherwood. The expanded cast includes Eliot Sumner, Maurizio Lombardi, Margherita Buy, and John Malkovich. Ripley was released on Netflix on April 4, 2024.
