Synopsis
Jinwoo’s whole life is turned around when he becomes the greatest hunter of them all
In a world where hunters have special powers they use to conquer dungeons in another dimension, Jinwoo is the weakest of them all. But when he comes dangerously close to death and chooses a new path, he is bestowed with new powers that elevate him to the top of the hunters’ pack.

Hiroyuki Sawano, composer for Attack on Titan, creates the music for Cruncyroll’s anime show
Solo Leveling Season 1 is the first season in the anime TV show produced by A-1 Pictures. South Korean author Chugong originally created the idea for Solo Leveling as a web novel, which was then adapted by Kakao into a webcomic, and finally into a webtoon. Sword Art Online director Shunsuke Nakashige helms the show, while Noboru Kimura writes the script, and character design is done by Tomoko Sudo. Hiroyuki Sawano, who composed the music for Attack on Titan, creates the music for the show.
The weakest hunter in the world, Sung Jinwoo, is voiced by Taito Ban. Reina Ueda joins him as the voice of his fellow hunter and love interest, Cha Hae-In. Genta Nakamura voices Jinwoo’s best friend, Yoo Jinho, while Banjou Ginga voices the Chairman of the Korean Hunters’ Association, Go Gunhee. Other cast members include Makoto Furukawa as Woo Jinchui, Daisuke Hirakawa as Choi Jong-In, and Hiroki Touchi as Baek Yoonho. Solo Leveling Season 1 was released on Crunchyroll on January 6, 2024.
