Synopsis
Detective Gesicht probes the murder of veteran war robots in peacetime
In a future where sentient robots and humans live peacefully side-by-side, a mysterious murder occurs. A great robot war hero has been murdered and Europol detective, Gesicht is investigating the case. As he peels back the layers he uncovers a mysterious entity named Pluto and a conspiracy to kill all the great robot war heroes - including himself.

Pluto Season 1 is an anime television show produced by GENCO for Netflix with animation production handled by Studio M2. Pluto Season 1 is written by Naoki Urasawa and Takashi Nagasaki. It is based on the manga of the same name that adapts iconic Japanese artist Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy. Shinshu Fuji stars as Gesicht. Yoko Hikasa voices the character Atom while Minori Suzuki plays Uran. Pluto Season 1 was released on October 26th, 2023 on Netflix.
