Fresh off a break up with long-term partner Iria – who still drives him around – and in possession of his late father’s deteriorating car, 40-year-old professor Pablo Lopetegui decides to finally get his driver’s license. After running into his plucky, precocious student Yolanda at the written test, Pablo now finds himself both her professor and fellow driving student after enrolling in lessons with kooky, long-time instructor, Lorenzo. Despite Pablo’s best efforts, neither will leave him alone about his driving journey, which soon becomes a source of fixation, frustration, and ultimately, redemption for the surly, self-absorbed university professor.
