Synopsis
With Dodge finally defeated in the ferocious finale of the previous season, Locke & Key Season 3 brings the most ruthless demon yet. Possessing revolutionary war solider Frederick Gideon, the demon is on the loose from The Black Door and siblings Kinsey and Bode have to face the terrifying new threat. With more magic to find in Keyhouse and blessed with the ability to make their own keys the Locke siblings have a lot of mystery to uncover, many keys to find and between it all, battles to fight. The Locke family matriarch Nina faces the revelations that come with use of the Memory Key that allow her to remember everything. On the opposite side, Tyler opted against using it and with his 18th birthday approaching could forget all about magic and be unable to help the family in their most crucial time.

What to know
Locke & Key Season 3 is a fantasy horror drama television series. The show is developed by Carlton Cuse, Meredith Averill and Aron Eli Coleite. Locke & Key is based on the comic-book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, though season 3 departs in significant ways from the comics. The creators of the show confirm that season 3 will be the last and that the show was always intended to span over three seasons.
Locke & Key Season 3 sees the return of Derby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke and Aaron Ashmore as uncle Duncan Locke. Reprising his role as the villainous Frederick Gideon is Kevin Durand while Sherri Saum continues to play Ellie Whedon who has an extended role in season 3. Locke & Key Season 3 was released on Netflix on August 10, 2022.
