WHY YOU SHOULD STREAM Poor Things - TIPS FROM JUSTWATCH

  • Essential viewing for fans of absurdist comedy and Yorgos Lanthimos

"Poor Things is the latest film from Yorgos Lanthimos, dripping with his signature absurdist humor and satire. It is very remiscient of his other films that pioneered the Weird Greek Wave, including Dogtooth, Alps, and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. As a result, it's satirical, whimsical, weird, erotic, and bold, but also an endlessly thought-provoking exploration of womanhood and self-discovery elevated by Emma Stone's masterful performance. Poor Things is bound to appeal to those intrigued by Lanthimos’ experimental and bold filmmaking."
