Clint Eastwood has been working in Hollywood since the 1950s, and has one of the biggest repertoire of films in history. Eastwood rose to stardom for his work in such franchises as the Dirty Harry five-film franchise, starring as Harry Callahan, and as The Man with No Name in Sergio Leone’s Fistful of Dollars trilogy which includes The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. In present day, Clint Eastwood is known as a renowned director as well as an iconic actor. Eastwood’s directorial debut was the film Play Misty for Me, and has directed over 30 films since then. He’s won four Academy Awards, including two for Best Director and two for Best Picture with Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. Eastwood also received the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award at the 67th Academy Awards and France’s Ordre des Arts et des Lettres medal at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival.
