Synopsis
After Yusuke Urameshi is killed during a selfless act, he is brought back to life as a spirit detective
After delinquent Yusuke Urameshi unexpectedly saves a child by jumping in front of a car, he is killed and brought to the underworld. However, the beings there were equally shocked by his selfless act, and decide to resurrect him as a spirit detective in the world of the living.

Takumi Kitamura stars in live-action remake of influential ‘90s manga series YuYu Hakusho for Netflix
YuYu Hakusho Season 1 is the first season of the Japanese live-action fantasy-adventure series produced by Robot Communications for Netflix. YuYuHakusho is based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s influential manga series of the same name, which ran in the 1990s and has been named as an inspiration for future anime series like Jujutsu Kaisen. The live-action series is directed by Shō Tsukikawa and written by Tatsurō Mishima.
Actor, singer, and model Takumi Kitamura stars as the supernatural detective Yusuke Urameshi. He is joined by an ensemble cast, including Shuhei Uesugi, Jun Shison, Kanata Hongō, Kotone Furukawa, Sei Shiraishi, Keita Machida, Ai Mikami, Hiroya Shimizu, Goro Inagaki, Meiko Kaji, Kenichi Takitō, and Go Ayano.
