What is X-Men '97 Season 2 about?
X-Men ‘97 Season 2 is the upcoming second season of the animated superhero series produced by Marvel Studios for Disney+. The second season continues the story of the mutants known as the X-Men, who’s animated forms were originally introduced in X-Men: The Animated Series in 1997. Original series showrunners Eric and Julia Lewald return as consultants for season 2, as with the first season.
Who stars in the voice cast of X-Men '97 Season 2?
Season 2 sees the return of cast members from the original series and the first season of X-Men ‘97, including Cal Dodd as the voice of Wolverine, George Buza as Beast, Alison Sealy-Smith as Storm, and Lenore Zann as Rogue. Catherine Disher returns as Jean Grey, and Adrian Hough is once again voicing Nightcrawler.
When will X-Men '97 Season 2 be released?
Although season 2 of the rebooted X-Men '97 series was greenlit before the first season was finished airing, there is no precise release date as of yet. Marvel Studios Head of TV, Streaming, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum told ScreenRant in May 2024 that they would be taking their time with season 2 to ensure the quality of the series remains top tier.
