The all-star team return for a second season of HBO’s hit basketball series
Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty Season 2 is the second season of the sports drama series produced by HBO Entertainment. The series is based on Jeff Pearlman’s book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s, and is created by Max Borenstein and Jim Hecht. The soundtrack is created by Nicholas Britell and Grammy Award-winner Robert Glasper, while Adam McKay serves once more as executive producer.
Hollywood stalwart John C Reilly portrays Jerry Buss, the owner of the Lakers. He is joined by Quincy Isaiah as Magic Johnson, Solomon Hughs as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Oscar-winner Adrien Brody as Pat Riley.
