Synopsis
Two detectives investigate the disappearance of six scientists during the darkest days of Alaskan winter
In Ennis, Alaska, a group of six scientists working at Tsalal Arctic Research Station mysteriously go missing. Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro are called in to investigate a crime that quickly escalates into more sinister than either of them could have imagined.

True Detective Season 4 is the fourth season in HBO's gritty anthology crime drama series produced by Anonymous Content and HBO Entertainment. Series creator Nic Pizzolatto takes a step back to act as executive producer on season 4, leaving the writing and showrunning duties to Issa López. Moonlight Berry Jenkins also takes on the role of executive producer for this season, which is titled 'Night Country' and takes place during the darkest days of winter in Alaska.
Season 4 of True Detective stars the iconic Oscar-winning actress Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro.
