Synopsis
Our eponymous hero, Steven Toast (Matt Berry: The IT Crowd) is a Rada trained actor living in the heart of Soho's theatre-land. With the misguided help of his inept agent Jane Plough (Doon Mackichan: Smack the Pony) and his idiosyncratic flatmate Ed Howzer-Black (Robert Bathurst: Cold Feet, Downton Abbey) we follow Toast in his desperate attempts to get the love, respect and fame he misguidedly believes he deserves.
