Synopsis
Henry Fielding's tale is a rowdy romp through the mansions and taverns of Georgian England. Tom Jones, is adopted by Squire Allworthy. He falls in love with Sophia Western, the daughter of a neighboring Squire. Unfortunately, she is already betrothed. Tom is forced to leave to seek his fortune, but he makes his way almost into a hangman's noose, via a series of misadventures and misunderstandings.
