What is The Acolyte Season 1 about?
The Acolyte Season 1 is the first season in the sci-fi mystery-thriller series produced by Lucasfilm and Disney. The season follows the story of a padawan and her former Jedi master who find themselves pitted against each other. The season takes place in eight parts and is set within the Star Wars universe. Long-time Star Wars fan Leslye Headland (Russian Doll) and Rayne Roberts write the series, which is based on Headland's passion project idea that she pitched to Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy. The series takes place 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I and follows the investigation into a series of crimes by a former padawan and her Jedi Master.
