Animation studios from around the world bring their unique flare to the Star Wars universe
Star Wars: Visions Season 2 is the second season of the animated anthology show made by Disney. While the first season paid tribute to the role Japanese animation has had in Star Wars lore — having each of the nine episodes be created by a different Japanese animation studio —season 2 goes global, featuring studios in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Chile, France, South Africa, the US, and more.
Star Wars: Visions Season 2 is produced by the VP of Franchise and Content and Strategy at Lucasfilm, James Waugh. The participating animation studios are the following: Cartoon Saloon (Ireland), Punkrobot (Chile), Studio Mir (South Korea), Aardman Animation (United Kingdom), El Guiri (Spain), 88 Pictures (India) Triggerfish (South Africa) and D'art Shtajio (Japan).
