Sex Education Season 4 is the fourth season of the hit coming-of-age comedy-drama series produced by Netflix. The series is created by Laurie Nunn, with Ben Taylor as the primary director. The first three seasons of Sex Education took place at Moordale Secondary School, where one student, Otis, becomes an informal school sex therapist for the other students due to knowledge gained from his mother’s sex therapy practice. Season 4 takes a different path, with Moordale’s students disbanded after the school’s closure, each joining a new school. Otis and his best friend Eric end up at Cavendish Sixth Form College, where a whole host of new students and drama await them.
Back for more Sex Education are Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn. He is joined by Ncuti Gatwa as Eric Effiong, Otis’ best friend. Gillian Anderson one again plays Otis’ sex therapist mother, Dr Jean Milburn, while Emma Mackey plays Otis’ love interest now across the pond, Maeve Wiley. Connor Swindells reprises his role as Adam Groff, Mimi Keene appears as Ruby, Kedar Williams-Stirling once more dons the athletic jacket to play Jackson Marchetti, and Aimee Lou Wood plays the lovable Aimee Gibbs. While even more will return for season 4, some notable faces do not appear, including Patricia Allison as Ola, and Tanya Reynolds as Lilly, Rakhee Thakrar as English teacher Emily Sands, and Simone Ashley as Olivia. However, new faces include Dan Levy as Maeve’s mentor in America, Thomas Molloy, in addition to Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James, Bella Maclean, and more.
