Synopsis
Josh and Melissa must sing and dance their way out of Schmicago
After Josh and Melissa finally find true love together, they are again transported to a whole new town — Schmicago! The musicals of the 1960s and ‘70s are alive and singing here, and if the pair are to make it home, they’ll have to sing and dance their way through Schmicago to do it.

Schmigadoon! Season 2 is the second season of the American musical comedy series produced by Universal Television and Broadway Video, and distributed by Apple TV+. The series was dreamed up by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, the duo behind the Despicable Me franchise. The second season is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and Robert Luketic, and the writers include Cinco Paul, Raina Morris, Jonathan Tolins, Julie Klausner, and Josh Lieb. The music is written by Cinco Paul and Christopher Willis. This season pays homage to the iconic musicals of the 1960s and '70s.
The cast includes many returning faces from the first season. The two main characters are portrayed by comedian, actor, and producer Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) as Josh, and comedian and singer Cecily Strong (SNL) as Melissa. Joining for the second season are Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page, while Ariana DeBose, Jamie Camil, Martin Short, Ann Harada, and Jane Krakowski all make appearances.
