What is Sausage Party: Foodtopia about?
Sausage Party: Foodtopia is an adult comedy animated series produced by Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television, and Annapurna Television. The continues the raunchy adventures of sentient supermarket food items Frank the hotdog, Brenda Bunson, and Sammy Bagel, Jr. The series is created by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldburg, who previously wrote and directed the Sausage Party film to which the series acts as a sequel. Two of the other co-writers from the 2016 film, Ariel Shaffir and Kyle Hunter, act as showrunners on the series.
Who is starring in Sausage Party: Foodtopia?
Much of the voice acting cast from the Sausage Party film return to voice their characters in the Foodtopia series, including comedic actor and producer Seth Rogen as Frank, and Kristen Wiig as Brenda. Michael Cera reprises his role as Barry, David Krumholtz as Kareem Abdul Lavash, and Edward Norton as Sammy Bagel Jr. New cast members for the series include Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester.
