Synopsis
Season 1 of Kakegurui Twin marks the beginning of Mary Saotome’s rags-to-riches adventure at Hyakkou Private Academy. Set one year before Yumeko Jabami comes to the school, Mary arrives as an ordinary girl hungry for success at the gambling-addicted academy. Does she have the wits – and the luck – to make it? Find out in season 1 of Kakegurui Twin, the prequel to Kakegurui.The anime series is based on the manga of the same name, Katrua Saiki’s spinoff and prequel to Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler by Homura Kawamoto and Tōru Naomura. Amazon Prime Japan also released a live-action adaptation of Kakegurui - Compulsive Gamble in 2021.
