Synopsis
The Gang return to Philadelphia where they are met with new challenges
After the Gang’s trip to Ireland last season, they settle back into their lives running their Philadelphia Irish pub. Charlie will face off with his sisters, while Mac delves into long-distance dating and fighting off allergies. Dee takes a foray into women’s athletics, while Dennis attempts to improve his mental health and Frank fawns over his guns.

The whole Gang returns for a sixteenth time in FX Productions’ classic series
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia Season 16 is the sixteenth season of FX Productions’ hit satirical sitcom series. The series is created by Rob McElhenney, and developed by McElhenney and Glenn Howerton.
The duo also star in the series as Ronald ‘Mac’ McDonald and Dennis Reynolds. Also back for more in season 16 is Charlie Day as Charlie Kelly, Kaitlin Olsen as Dee, and Danny DeVito as Frank. In addition to the core cast, season 16 will also bring back some old faces including Mary Elizabeth Ellis as The Waitress, Artemis Pebdani as Artemis, and Mary Lynn Rajskub as Gail the Snail.
