The Straw Hat Pirates reassemble for a second season of Netflix’s hit live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved manga
One Piece Season 2 is the upcoming second season of Netflix’s swashbuckling action-adventure series. The series is based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga series of the same name, which was first adapted into a beloved animated series before transitioning to live-action for Netflix. The second season is once more adapted by Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, and produced by Tomorrow Studios, Kaji Productions, and Shueisha.
One Piece Season 2 sees the Straw Hat Pirates return once more with Iñaki Godoy playing the rambunctious elastic captain, Monkey D Luffy, Emily Rudd as the skilled thief Nami, Mackenyu as master swordsman Roronoa Zoro, Jacob Romero as the storyteller Usopp, and Taz Skylar as the deadly chef, Sanji. Others likely to return include Ilia Isorelýs Paulino’s harsh-edged Captain Alvida, Jeff Ward’s dismantlable Buggy the Clown, Alexander Maniatis’ sinister Klahadore/Kuro, and McKinley Belcher III’s season 1 big bad, Arlong. New additions to the cast for season 2 include Joe Manganiello as Mr 0, David Dastmalchian as Mr 3, Camrus Johnson as Mr 5, and Daniel Lasker as Mr 9. Additionally, Jazzara Jaslyn takes on the role of Miss Valentine, Callum Kerr plays Smoker, Julia Rehwald portrays Tashigi, Rob Colletti plays Wapol, Ty Keogh portrays Dalton, Sendhil Ramamurthy plays Nefertari Cobra, Charithra Chandran plays Miss Wednesday, and Lera Abova is Miss All Sunday.
