What is Bridgerton Season 4 about?
Bridgerton Season 4 is the upcoming fourth season of the historical fiction romance series produced by Shondaland for Netflix. The series is based on author Julia Quinn’s novel series about a family in the Regency era and the eight siblings as they navigate life and finding love. Each book focuses on one sibling’s story, and the Netflix series follows that pattern, first with the story of Daphne, then Anthony, then Colin. The fourth season will focus on Benedict's love story.
Who stars in Bridgerton Season 4?
Season 4 of Bridgerton stars Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton, while Yerin Ha plays his love interest, Sophie Beckett. Claudia Jessie returns as the precocious Eloise, and Chris Fulton as her love interest, Sir Philip Crane. Golda Rosheuvel reprises her role as Queen Charlotte, as does Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, and Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton. Katie Leung joins as Lady Araminta Gun, Michelle Mao plays Rosamund Li, and Isabella Wei stars as Rosamund's younger sister, Posy Li.
Will Bridgerton Season 4 be about Eloise or Benedict?
Bridgerton Season 4 will focus on Benedict, as announced by Variety on July 23, 2024. Producer Shonda Rhimes told Variety ahead of season 3's released that she does "have a very specific plan of where we go each season —which one is which". However, it would seem that this order is slightly different to the order of the books. While book 3 is about Benedict, season 3 is about Colin (book 4).
When will Bridgerton Season 4 be released?
So far, filming for Bridgertson Season 4 has not begun, meaning it's hard to speculate when the next season will be released. However, there have usually been around 2 years between seasons thus far, so we can likely expect season 4 to land in either late 2025 or 2026.
