Brideshead Revisited stars Andrew Garfield as Charles Ryder, a man belonging to the aristocratic Ryder family who reside in Brideshead Castle. The mini-series follows the many trials and tribulations of Charles and his family across two decades, spanning from the 1920s until the 1940s.
The mini-series is adapted from the acclaimed 1945 novel by Evelyn Waugh. The novel’s complete title is Brideshead Revisited, The Sacred & Profane Memories of Captain Charles Ryder. The story has previously been adapted for television in 1981 and as a feature film in 2008.
