Synopsis
Emma is carefree and spontaneous; her daughter, Micol, is methodical and organised. Together they complement each other: Micol the responsible child; Emma the adult who never grew up. But when the family relocate from Rome to Livorno, Micol discovers she is pregnant at 16, like her mother before her. Now Emma must come to terms with the city and family circumstances she fled from years ago.
