Synopsis
Odysseus returns home to Ithaca after twenty years of wandering to find suitors vying for his wife’s hand
Odysseus has long thought to have perished at sea after the battle of Troy twenty years earlier. But when he finally manages to wash up on the shores of his home island Ithaca, he finds his wife Penelope besieged by increasingly restless suitors hoping to marry her for her wealth. Odysseus is unrecognisable after the years of hardship, and he uses his anonymity to his advantage as he seeks to beat the suitors, save his son, and reconnect with Penelope while grappling with his own guilt from the past.
