Synopsis
A detective tries to find his daughter while investigating a series of unnerving heists
After detective Danny Rourke’s young daughter mysteriously disappears, he goes back to work in a desperate attempt to find normalcy. But as he begins to investigate a series of seemingly impossible heists, he starts to realise there may be a connection to his daughter — and a man capable of hypnotising those around him is the key.

Ben Affleck stars alongside Alice Braga in Studio 8's big-budget sci-fi thriller
Hypnotic is an American sci-fi action-thriller film produced by Studio 8. The film is directed and edited by Robert Rodriguez, who also co-writes the script alongside Max Borenstein, who is best known for his work on the MonsterVerse Godzilla films.
The film stars Ben Affleck as Danny Rourke, a detective who finds a link between his daughter’s disappearance and the current heists he is investigating. He is joined by Alice Braga as Diana Cruz, a psychic who starts helping Danny with his unnerving case. William Fichtner plays the sinister Dellrayne, who can control people through hypnosis.
