Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar makes his cinematic debut in Across the Spider-Verse
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the sequel to the Oscar award winning animated film Into the Spider-Verse.The movie is produced by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation and Marvel Entertainment, and written by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller with additional writing by David Callaham. The movie is co-directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson. Daniel Pemberton returns from his work on the first film to score the sequel.
Actor/Rapper Shameik Moore, stars as Miles Morales in this animated version of the beloved Spider-Man character. He’s joined by Oscar Isaac and Jake Johnson who both play different versions of Spider-Man. Isaac plays the role of Spider-Man from an alternate future while Johnson assumes the role of Spider-Man from another dimension who was a mentor to Miles. Hailee Steinfeld reprises her role as the voice of Gwen Stacy and Issa Rae signs on for the role of Jessica Drew. Both of these characters play the role of Spider-Woman from different dimensions. Academy award winner Daniel Kaaluya portrays Spider-Punk, while Brian Tyree Henry joins the wider cast. Cricketer Shubman Gill lends his voice to voice the role of Indian Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar in Hindi and Punjabi, while actor Karan Soni confirmed
