Stupnitsky has co-written the script of the film alongside writer John Phillips.
No Hard Feelings stars Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence as Maddie, a financially troubled millennial who signs up to date a 19 year old boy in return for funding for her car. She is paired opposite actor/singer Andrew Barth Feldman, who dons the role of the shy teen, Percy. Actors Matthew Broderick and Laura Benanti play the role of Percy’s helicopter parents. Actors Natalie Morales and Scott McArthur are seen in supporting roles as friends of Maddie. The film also features roles from actors Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Kyle Mooney, and actor/comedian Hasan Minhaj.
