Kartik Aaryan, and Kriti Sanon star in this action fueled Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo
Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada is the Bollywood remake of Allu Arjun’s popular South Indian film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Zee Studios reportedly bought the rights to the Telegu remake for 9 crores.
Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon reunite on screen for the second time in Shehzada, following their pairing in the romantic comedy Luka Chuppi. The film also marks the second collaboration between Kartik Aaryan and comedic talent Rajpal Yadav, who previously shared the screen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Aside from them, the film features actors Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sachin Khedekar and Ronit Roy.
Notably, Shehzada is Kartik Aaryan's first venture as both a producer and actor. After a theatrical release on 17 February 2023, the movie had its streaming premiere on Netflix on April 14th, 2023.
