Set in the dark and narrow alleyways of Mumbai, Monkey Man is an action-thriller following the pursuit of Kid, a man who loses his mother to the violence of the underworld mafia silently ruling his country. Fueled by his hunger for revenge, Kid will leave no stone unturned in his merciless hunt to put an end to every single pawn responsible for his mother's demise.
Monkey Man is an action-thriller movie produced by Bron Studios and Thunder Bird Films, and distributed by Universal Pictures. The movie is based on a story written by actor Dev Patel, who has also directed, and produced the film, in addition to starring in it as the lead. Dev Patel is joined by Jomon Thomas, Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld, Ian Cooper, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Christine Haebler, and Anjay Nagpal.
The film features fight choreography by Brahim Chab, a stunt choreographer who has worked alongside Jackie Chan on Dragon Blade and Vanguard, and with Scott Adkins on Ninja: Shadow of a Tear amongst other action blockbusters.
Actor Dev Patel headlines the film as Kid. He is joined by a talented ensemble featuring Sharlto Copley, Pitobash Vipin Sharma, Sikandar Kher, Sobhita Dhulipala, Ashwini Kalsekar, Adithi Kalkunte, and Makarand Deshpande.
