XO, Kitty is a rom-com drama series created by Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild for Netflix. It serves as a spin-off of the original Netflix film from 2018, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which was based on the novel written by Han in 2014. Along with co-showrunner duties, Han and Rothchild tackle writing and executive producing the series while Matt Kaplan serves as executive producer. XO, Kitty is the first time a Netflix original movie has served as inspiration for a TV series based on that original Netflix movie.
The series features Anna Cathcart in the lead role of Kitty Covey, reprising her role from the movie series as Lara Jean’s beloved younger sister. Choi Min-young joins her as Dae along with Anthony Keyvan as Q, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, Regan Aliya as Juliana, Yunjin Kim as Jina and Michael K. Lee as Professor Lee.
