Anna Cathcart returns as the titular lead in second season of Netflix's successful spin-off series
XO, Kitty season 2 is the upcoming season for the romantic dramedy series co-created by Jenny Han and Sascha Rothchild for Netflix. The show is a spin-off of the Netflix film starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, which was adapted from Han's 2014 novel and began streaming on the platform in 2018. Han and Rothchild serve as co-showrunners for XO, Kitty alongside writing and executive producing the series. Matt Kaplan is also an executive producer. The first season of XO, Kitty released in May 2023 and quickly became one of the most popular shows on the service. A short month following its premiere, the series was renewed for a second season.
Anna Cathcart continues to lead the series as Katherine “Kitty” Song Covey. The character was first introduced in the 2018 film and appeared in the subsequent sequels - To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You and To All the Boys: Always and Forever. Choi Min-young stars Kitty's long-distance South Korean boyfriend, Dae-heon Kim. His character first appeared in the third To All the Boys entry, however he was played by Jeon Ho-Young. Gia Kim stars as Kitty's love interest, Yuri Han, while Sang Heon Lee portrays the person interested in Kitty's love, Min-ho. The rest of the cast includes Anthony Keyvan as Quincy Shabazian AKA Q, Théo Augier as Q’s boyfriend, Florian, Yunjin Kim as Director Ji-na Lim, Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin and Joshua Lee.
