Synopsis
Storm and Wolverine fight to keep the X-Men together
While Charles Xavier is recovering on a faraway planet, Magneto tries to take control of the X-Men and receives support from many of the other superheroes who have chosen Magneto as their leader. At the same time, the villainous Mister Sinister emerges as a threat to all of the X-Men, and Storm and Wolverine must work to restore order within the X-Men so that they can band together to defeat Sinister.

A revival series to the popular nineties show X-Men: The Animated series
Based on the X-Men comic book series by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, X-Men ‘97 season 1 is an animated superhero television series created by Beau DeMayo. DeMayo is known for previous work on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Moon Knight and writing the screenplay for the critically acclaimed The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. The series is created by Disney+ and is a revival of the 1992-1997 series X-Men: The Animated Series. Picking up where the original nineties series left off, the story revolves around a group of outcast mutants who have extraordinary powers which they use to make the world a better place.
The entire voice cast from the animated series returns to reprise their original roles after 26 years. Lenore Zann voices Anna-Marie Raven/ Rogue, Cal Dodd as James Howlett/ Wolverine, Catherine Disher as Jean Grey, George Buza as Dr. Henry “Hank” McCoy/ Beast, Alison Sealy-Smith as Ororo Munroe/ Storm, Chris Potter as Remy LeBeau/ Gambit, Adrian Hough as Kurt Wagner/ Nightcrawler. Christopher Britton stars as the series villain Nathaniel Essex/ Mister Sinister.
