Synopsis
Scott Pilgrim is back to fight off Ramona's exes
When Scott Pilgrim falls for Ramona, his world becomes so much bigger than just playing bass guitar in his indie band Sex Bob-omb. In order for Scott and Ramona to be together, Scott has to defeat all of Ramona’s evil exes, who have banded together to stop her from dating anyone else.

Scott Pilgrim returns in anime series with original Scott Pilgrim vs. the World cast
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is an action-adventure anime series based on the graphic novels created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. The graphic novels were previously adapted into a film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World directed by Edgar Wright, who returns as an executive producer on the series. Scott Pilgrim The Anime is developed by O’Malley and BenDavid Grabinski, with Spanish animator Abel Gongora (Star Wars: Visions) directing.
The cast of the original film are returning to voice the anime series, with Michael Cera as Scott Pilgrim, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers. Satya Bhabha is Matthew Patel, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells, Chris Evans as Lucas Lee, Anna Kendrick as Stacey Pilgrim, Brie Larson as Envy Adams, Alison Pill as Kim Pine, Aubrey Plaza as Julie powers, Brandon Routh as Todd Ingram, Jason Schwartzman as Gideon Graves, Mark Webber as Stephen Stills, Johnny Simmons as Young Neil, Mae Whitman as Roxie and Ellen Wong as Knives Chau.

- An anime series based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's Scott Pilgrim graphic novels was being developed by Netflix and Universal Content Productions. O'Malley was revealed as the showrunner, writer and executive producer for the anime series along with BenDavid Grabinski. Abel Góngora was appointed as the animator for the project. Edgar Wright and Michael Bacall, who directed and wrote the 2010 live-action film adaptation of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World respectively, are also involved with the anime as executive producers.
