Emalia, Naomi Sequeira and Miah Madden star in music drama series Paper Dolls
Paper Dolls is a Network 10 and Paramount+ drama, about the gritty side of the glamorous music industry. The series is based on an original concept by Belinda Chapple, a member of the Australian band ‘Bardot’, which was formed after winning the reality TV show Popstars in 1999. Paper Dolls is written and directed by Ainslie Clouston, with fellow directors Tenika Smith, Nina Buxton and Erin White also attached. The show’s writers also include David Hannam, Marieke Hardy, Sara Khan, Thomas Wilson-White and Jenna Purcell. The series is produced by Helium Pictures for Network 10 Australia, with investment from Screen Australia and Screen NSW.
Starring as the pop band members of Harlow are Emalia as Izzy James, Naomi Sequeira as Annabel Tonkin, Miah Madden as Charlie Levett, Courtney Clarke as Jade Hart and Courtney Monsma as Lillian Milton. Gantanter Singh Gill is also in the cast as Marty, with Emma Booth as Margot Murray.
