Synopsis
Five aspiring singers find fame as they shoot to stardom
The band Harlow is created when five singers win the reality singing competition show ‘Pop Rush’. As Izzy, Annabel, Charlie, Jad and Lillian enjoy their newfound fame and success, they also have to contend with the dark side of the music industry.

Gritty Network 10 drama Paper Dolls shines a light on the realities of showbiz
Paper Dolls is a music drama series based on an original concept by Belinda Chapple. Chapple was a member of the Australian girl band Bardot. Paper Dolls is written and directed by Ainslie Clouston (Amazing Grace). The show is executive produced by Chapple and Mark Fennessy, founder and Chief Creative Officer of Helium Pictures. Jessica Carrera and Kerrie Mainwaring are producers of Paper Dolls.
The ensemble cast is led by the five actresses playing the members of girl group Harlow. The Evermoor Chronicles actress Naomi Sequeira plays Annabel, with singer/ songwriter Emalia (Australian Gangster) as Izzy. Miah Madden (The Gods of Wheat Street) plays Charlie, with Courtney Clarke (Last King of the Cross) as Jade and Australian theatre actress (Frozen The Musical) as Lillian.
