Synopsis
The mysteries of Monarch are revealed
After the epic battle between Godzilla and the MUTOs in San Francisco, the world now knows about the existence of giant monsters. Trying to learn the truth about their family history, two siblings stumble upon their connection to a secret organisation called Monarch. As they learn more about the world of monsters and of Monarch, the secrets threaten the safety of the world as we know it.

Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell and John Goodman headline MonsterVerse series on Apple TV+
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is an action-adventure thriller television show on Apple TV+. The series is created by Chris Black and Matt Fraction, and is based on the iconic monster, Godzilla. Black has written for shows such as Xena: Warrior Princess and Star Trek: Enterprise. Fraction is known for his work writing comic books such as “The Invincible Iron Man”. The show is part of Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures’ MonsterVerse franchise, which also includes the films Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of Monsters.
Hollywood leading man Kurt Russell, and his son Wyatt Russell headline the series, both playing different versions of the character Lee Shaw. Anna Sawai plays Cate Randa, with Kiersey Clemons as May, Ren Watabe as Kentary, Mari Yamamoto as Keiko and Joe Tippet as Tim. Elisa Lasowski plays Duvall, with Christopher Heyerdahl as General Puckett. John Goodman reprises his role as Bill Randa from Kong: Skull Island, with Anders Holm playing a younger Bill.
