Synopsis
The ‘Bloody Hundredth’ battalion is pushed to the limit
During World War II, the United States Army Air Forces’ 100th Bombardment Group was nicknamed the ‘Bloody Hundredth’ due to the heavy losses and injuries they suffered. Throughout the war, the team face impossibly difficult challenges.

Masters of the Air is a war drama series on Apple TV+ created by John Orloff and John Shiban. Gary Goetzman, Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg serve as executive producers on the miniseries, with Cary Joji Fukunaga (No Time to Die, True Detective), Dee Rees (Mudbound), Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Captain Marvel) and Tim Van Patten (Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire). The series is based on the 2007 book ‘Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought The Air War Against Nazi Germany’ by Donald L. Miller.
Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominee Austin Butler plays Major Gale Cleven in the Apple TV+ series. Co-starring as Major John Egan is Callum Turner, with Anthony Boyle as Major Harry crosby. Barry Keoghan stars as Lt. Curtis Biddick, with Raff Law as Sgt. Ken Lemmons and Nate Mann as Major Robert Rosenthal. Ncuti Gatwa plays 2nd Lt. Robert Daniels, with Kai Alexander as Sgt. William Quinn and James Murray as Major Chic Harding. Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, Tommy Jessop, Freddy Carter, Nikolai Kinski, Oaklee Pendergast, Louis Greatorex, Adam Long, Jordan Coulson and Fionn O’Shea also feature in the ensemble cast of Masters of the Air.
