Synopsis
Murder strikes again, and Detective Whitford is on the case
Andrea Whitford, a detective who has been newly transferred to the Victorian High Country. She must get to the bottom of the state’s most pressing mystery - five missing persons in the Victorian wilderness. What Detective Whitford uncovers is a case involving murder, lies and revenge.

Leah Purcell leads star-studded Aussie mystery thriller series ‘High Country’
High Country is a mystery thriller series on BINGE and Foxtel. The show is created by Marcia Gardner and John Ridley, who also serve as executive producers. The mystery thriller series is produced by Curio Pictures for the Foxtel Group, with investment from Screen Australia and Foxtel Group in association with VicScreen. The original series consists of eight episodes, and was filmed in Victoria.
Leah Purcell AM (The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart, The Drover's Wife) leads the cast of High Country as Detective Andrea Whitford. Ian McElhinney (Game of Thrones, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Aaron Pederson (Mystery Road) co-star opposite Purcell in the murder mystery series. Sara Wiseman, known for her roles in Rake and A Place To Call Home, stars as Helen Hartley. Offspring actress Linda Cropper is also part of the cast, alongside Luke McKenzie (Wentworth), Leah Vandenberg (The Wrong Girl) and Geoff Morrell (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power).
