Synopsis
The fashionistas of New York City are back for more drama and romance
Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are hitting the streets of Manhattan once more, as they enter a new phase of their lives. After burying her husband’s ashes in Paris, Carrie finds herself in an unexpected relationship with the producer of her podcast, while Miranda is in Los Angeles with her new beau Che Diaz. As Charlotte continues to navigate Judaism and motherhood with children with different views from her own.

And Just Like That… season 2 is the second season of HBO’s comedy drama reboot of the iconic Sex and the City television series, which aired from 1998 to 2004. And Just Like That… is developed by Michael Patrick King and created by Darren Star, who wrote the original series along with Sex and the City series Younger and Emily in Paris.
Following the post-pandemic lives of New York’s famous socialites, Sarah Jessica Parker returns as the iconic columnist Carrie Bradshaw. Kristin Davies reprises her roles as Charlotte York, and Cynthia Nixon plays Miranda Hobbes. The launch of season 1 was marred by the announcement that Kim Cattrall would not be joining the reboot series as her original Sex and the City character Samantha Jones. While she is not featured in season 2, her character is present through text messages throughout the show. Returning characters in the series include Charlotte’s husband Harry played by Evan Handler, and Mario Cantone as her friend Anthony. John Corbett (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) also returns as Carrie’s ex Aidan Shaw. Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy) reprises her role as Che Diaz, and Sarita Choudhury as Seema. Sam Smith and Tony Danza debut new characters in season 2.
