Synopsis
In Silo, a rebellious engineer seeks to escape an underground society
In a dystopian future, a community of people has survived by abandoning the surface world and burrowing deep underground. Living within the subterranean Silo, members of the community must follow harsh rules in order to be protected. But when one engineer has the urge to visit the surface world the whole system is challenged and the truth is brought to light.

Silo Season 1 is a dystopian sci-fi thriller produced by AMC Studios and Nemo Films for Apple TV+. The show is based on the book series Wool written by Hugh Howey. Adapting the novels are executive producer Morten Tyldum and director Graham Yost.
Rebecca Ferguson plays the lead role in the show as Juliette, the rebellious engineer. She acts alongside Tim Robbins who plays Bernard, head of IT in the Silo. David Oyelowo and Rashida Jones play the couple, Holston and Allison. The wider cast includes Common, Iain Glen, Harriet Walter, Avi Nash, and Chinaza Uche.
