Synopsis
Born into a prestigious family during the Joseon Era, Yoo Se Poong, while excelling in his educational path, resets his goal and dedicates himself to becoming a physician after losing his mother to disease. In a matter of a few years, his effort and natural abilities as an intellect secure him a position at “Naeuiwon”, the Royal medical institution. However, a life-changing incident takes place, and it takes away everything that he has achieved, as well as his reasons to go on. Seo Eun Woo is a widow who once showed outstanding talent in examining a corpse to figure out everything related to its death. However, like all other widows at the time, Eun Woo is forced to be faithful to her deceased husband. The world has turned its back on both Se Poong and Eun Woo, and when the two begin to feel how meaningless their lives are, they cross each other’s paths.
