Synopsis
Japanese anime series blending military sci-fi with isekai themes
Youji Itami is an off-duty Japan Self-Defense Forces officer and self-proclaimed otaku, who finds himself at the center of a supernatural crisis when a mysterious gate opens in Tokyo, unleashing medieval warriors and mythical creatures on its population. After helping to fend off the initial attack, Youji is assigned to lead a team into the world beyond the gate, known as the "Special Region".
