Doctor Lawyer - Season 1 (2022)

Han Yi-han (So Ji-sub) was once a top surgeon, having graduated at the top of his class from South Korea's best medical school and specializing in both general and cardiothoracic surgery. However, his life takes a drastic turn when a patient dies during a surgery he believed was successful. As a result, his medical license is revoked. Four years later, Yi-han returns as a lawyer specializing in medical litigation, determined to uncover the truth behind the patient's death. He teams up with Geum Seok-yeong (Im Soo-hyang), a prosecutor who lost her only family member and lover due to that operation. Together, they work to punish those who believe that wealth and power can rank above life and to comfort the victims of medical negligence.
