Synopsis
The Bridgerton family are back for another memorable London season filled with scandal, comedy and romance. Bridgerton Season 4 is the fourth season of the historical and romantic series produced by Shondaland for Netflix. Based on the novels by Julia Quinn, the series tells the story of a family of eight siblings, each of whom are the subject of a book. Set during the Regency era in England, the series takes a closer look at the life and times of Queen Charlotte's upper class subjects during the London season.
Just like the books, each season of Bridgerton focuses on a different child in the family. The fourth season will center on Colin Bridgerton and his relationship with his best friend and neighbor, Penelope Bridgerton.
Luke Newton returns to play Colin, as does Nicola Coughlan in the role of Penelope. Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley return as Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma, respectively. Yerin Ha stars as Sophie Beckett.
