Almost Fly - Season 1 (2022)

In 1990s West Germany, best friends Walter, or “W”, Ben, and Nik spend their days navigating typical teenage problems: family, teachers, and catching the attention of their crushes. After discovering hip-hop on a nearby U.S. Army base, the lives of these high school outcasts change forever. Inspired to begin a rap crew of their own, the friends embark on a journey of self-discovery to make it big in the emerging hip-hop scene. But when their initial attempts to rap in English fail horribly, they decide to rewrite the “rules” by rapping in German.
