Locked (2025)

Locked is a dark film about human desperation among the desperate and the affluent alike. Locked takes place almost entirely within a luxury car that Bill Skarsgård's Eddie tries to steal. When he discovers he can't get back out of the car, Eddie finds himself locked in a battle of wits and wills with the car's owner, William. A deliciously evil performance from Anthony Hopkins is delivered almost entirely through the audio system of the car, giving Eddie an enemy he can't threaten, swindle, or escape. It's a bleak film that benefits from tight direction and great performances.
