Gideon Jura is fighting for good amongst the Planewalkers
The inhabitants of this world are called Planewalkers, beings with magical powers who can be both heroes and villains. The loyal warrior and magician Gideon Jura is on a quest to fight for good in a world where evil looms on the horizon.

What is Magic: The Gathering about?
Magic: The Gathering is an upcoming fantasy animated series produced by Netflix and follows the story of magician Gideon Jura as he fights for good in a world increasingly infiltrated by evil. The series is based on Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast table-top trading-card game of the same name. The game centres on the Planewalkers, who are both heroes and villains and have magical powers. Terry Matalas acts as showrunner for the series. Matalas previously was the showrunning for seasons 2 and 3 of Star Trek: Picard.
